It is essentially an abstract piece. For me it was about searching and feeling my way between flowing and solid, curved and straight, rough and smooth, massive and light, .. It was exhibited for a few months in a shopping street in central Amsterdam (Haarlemmerdijk), close to where I was working at that time. Later I decided to change the sculpture giving it its current shape: principally I gave it a new base. The structure of the stone is very nice (just one crack), and it has a fine surface texture. It is made from serpentine, with a weight of 8kg (height 23cm).
